GCSE Resits

GCSE resits give you another opportunity to achieve the grades needed for further study, apprenticeships and many careers. If you do not achieve a grade 4 in GCSE English Language or GCSE Maths, you must resit and you will usually continue studying the subject alongside your chosen college course.

The exam board you study with depends on the GCSE resit you choose. GCSE English Language is assessed by Eduqas (WJEC), while GCSE Maths is assessed by Edexcel.

Both qualifications are nationally recognised GCSEs and are assessed using the requirements set by their respective exam boards.
