HE+ is a collaborative project run by the University of Cambridge with Cardinal Newman College and other schools and colleges.
The HE+ project aims to:
The overall goal of the project is to encourage and prepare more academically-able students to make competitive applications to top universities. There will be a programme of 5-6 subject-specific extension classes throughout the academic year. These encourage and challenge the students to think beyond their A Level curriculum and approach familiar material in new ways.
In addition, Cambridge academics and admissions staff will deliver subject master-classes and application workshops and arrange a visit to Cambridge where students will stay overnight at a Cambridge college and experience student life first hand.
