GCSE Mathematics is essential for your future career prospects. It is a qualification that is held in high regard by all employers and taking a Maths GCSE resit will help you gain this valuable qualification. It is a valuable qualification and if you are intending to go to university to study at degree level. Nearly all university courses require you to have a level 2 qualification in Maths.
This is a one year course, which will be delivered in a friendly and supportive environment. You will be encouraged to attempt a resit in November, to free up time for your other studies. You will be set weekly achievable tasks, with regular feedback letting you know how you are progressing. You will be well supported as you try to overcome this often challenging hurdle. The three final exams are taken in the summer and will follow the same format as your GCSE exams at school.
A pass in GCSE Maths can open many doors in the future and has been given even greater significance under the current government. It will allow progression to universities, apprenticeships and will also make you more sought after in the employment field, where competition for jobs can be tough.
