Newman Shortlisted for TES Sixth Form College of the Year

Cardinal Newman College is delighted to have been shortlisted for the second year in a row for Sixth Form College of the Year by the TES in their annual FE Awards.

The FE Awards celebrate colleges across the board in a variety of categories from Teacher of the Year to Apprenticeship Provider of the Year.

Cardinal Newman College has been shortlisted as one of only eight from over 90 Sixth Form Colleges across the country for the 2020 awards. The winner of the Sixth Form College of the Year should epitomise the qualities which makes the sector so distinctive, showcasing quality teaching and learning outcomes, as well as a commitment to sharing good practice and raising achievement across the board.

The awards are aimed at celebrating the most outstanding individuals and institutions that the FE sector has to offer have been recognised in the shortlist for the 2020 TES FE Awards.

TES FE editor Stephen Exley said: “Excellent practice exists right across the further education sector, and those shortlisted for the TES FE Awards are the cream of the crop. Our judges were extremely impressed with the calibre of entries.”

The winners will be revealed at a gala awards evening at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on Friday 20th March 2020
