Leavers’ Celebration 2019

On Friday 24th May, we said our goodbyes to the class of 2019, our Year 13 students. Although they still have some exams remaining, we came together as a College to celebrate the last two years that they have spent with us.

We kicked off the celebrations with a Leavers Mass over in the St Augustine’s Building, led by our Head of Chaplaincy Anne, with words from both the Principal Nick and Deputy Principal Paul, it was a perfect opportunity to reflect on the time we have spent together and everything we have achieved.

We were also treated to a performance from our Performing Arts students and the now annual staff drumming band as well as photographs and memories spanning the last two years.

After the formal celebrations were over, students and staff then headed back over to the main site, where the Student Union hosted an ‘after party’ with food and entertainment provided. A fantastic time was had by everyone and it was a great way to say our farewells.

Best of luck to all of our Year 13s with their exams and their future plans, we know they will make us proud!
