Business Visit Google HQ

Cardinal Newman Business students are looking forward to a trip to London to visit Google HQ for Europe, Middle East and Africa. The group of 15 students have been offered this fantastic opportunity to join industry leaders and hear talks from people ranging from the President of Google for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Sir Clive Woodward.

The opportunity has arisen from our partnership with Working Options, a charity which promotes employability for Business students. We are one of a small number of Colleges with whom they regularly work, so have secured an invite to their annual Symposium which this year is being held at Google HQ in London.

The trip will take students down to the capital for the day and will include sessions such as, ‘The Creator Economy’, hosted by YouTube, ‘New Technologies, New Skills and New Employment Opportunities’, ‘Grow with Google’ training and ‘Inclusion Network’, which is a networking opportunity for students to meet business leaders and other like-minded Business students.

The benefits for our students of taking part in this fantastic opportunity are immeasurable, not only providing opportunities to network and ask questions of some of the most successful business leaders, as well as visiting the UK hub for the world’s largest search engine.
