‘Birds of America’ Lands at Cardinal Newman!

Join us on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th June for our all American musical extravaganza, Birds of America, set within the backdrop of modern American popular culture.

The original production, created and performed by the Performing Arts department at Cardinal Newman will feature music from the great American songbook, including Wheetus, Bon Jovi, Steppen Wolf, Brian Adams, Journey, Madonna and many more.

Starting in the present day, on their last day of High School, a group of friends whilst signing leavers’ books begin helping their friend come up with ideas for a Musical. Then ensues a range of tales, as the friends all tell stories aimed at inspiring the would-be playwright… Cue tales of cowboys in the Wild West, the Salem witch trials and the American staple of High School Football and Cheerleading antics!

Tickets are £4 per adult, with concessions just £2. Please note that this production is unsuitable for those aged under 15.
