Throughout his time at Newman, Stanley has embraced both the academic and personal opportunities that college life has to offer. The transition to a more independent style of learning proved particularly beneficial, allowing him to take ownership of his studies, build confidence in his abilities and develop valuable skills that will support him in his future education and career.

Beyond the classroom, the supportive environment at Newman has played a significant role in his success. From teachers to wider support staff, he has always felt encouraged to achieve his goals and make the most of every opportunity available to him.

“I have so many favourite things about Newman. One of the biggest positives for me has been having more independent study time, which has really allowed me to flourish and become more confident in my learning. It has helped me develop skills that I know will be valuable in the future. The teachers and other staff have also been incredibly supportive throughout my time here and have always been happy to offer help and guidance whenever I needed it. That support has made a huge difference to my experience and has been one of the things I’ve valued most about being at Newman.”
