100% Student Satisfaction
Cardinal Newman was one of only a handful of institutions to achieve 100% satisfaction in the National Student Survey.
The survey rates student experience and satisfaction amongst Higher Education leaners, and was completed by more than 300,000 students across 530 institutions nationwide. Students were asked about a range of aspects such as quality of provision, teaching and how engaging and stimulating their course was. Of all 530 institutions, only 30 received 100% satisfaction and Cardinal Newman was one of only two Sixth Form Colleges nationally to achieve this accolade!
Arti Saraswat, senior policy manager at the Association of Colleges (AoC), said the colleges that provide Higher Education had worked very hard to ensure they were providing a quality service to their students and the local community and it was “gratifying to see that students themselves say they are pleased with the education they receive”. “Colleges specialise in providing technical and professional alternatives to the three-year residential degree. They enable students to study closer to home with lower tuition fees, often with smaller class sizes enabling more individual tuition.”
Cardinal Newman College Principal, Nick Burnham said: “Since launching our Foundation Degrees in 2014, we have worked very hard to ensure that our university students are receiving the very best experience of Higher Education. The dedicated team of staff both here at the College and at Middlesex University, who validate the courses we offer, have ensured that the provision we offer is exemplary which has been proven by this student satisfaction survey.”
