Virtual Careers Fair 2021
Each year our fabulous Careers Team organise an amazing Careers Fair for all of our students to enjoy, and while this year will look a little different, not even a pandemic is going to get in the way of supporting our students progression.
The Careers Team have worked hard to arrange a fabulous virtual event to rival even the in-person event they normally host, with employers, universities and much more.
The Virtual Higher Education and Progression Fair will be held on Tuesday 16th March from 5pm – 8pm and it is open to both Y12 students and parents alike. There will be over 50 different organisations in attendance, with a mixture of organisations offering work experience, apprenticeships and volunteering opportunities, as well as a huge range of universities, from all over the UK.
There will be live Q & A sessions and presentations taking place at a range of times throughout the event, as well as a number of pre-recorded sessions which students can access. The event will open at 4.30pm, so that attendees can have some time prior to the start to plan which specific sessions they would like to attend.
The event is designed to support students in making informed decisions about their future, be that Higher Education or employment. It also provides a fantastic opportunity to engage with universities and employers and learn what opportunities are going to be available to them. They can expect to find out more about things such as student finance, university accommodation, choosing a university course, studying at university during the pandemic, writing a personal statement, degree apprenticeships, work experience and so much more.
There is no need to register for the event, students and parents will be sent a link on the day of the event, and simply need to click the link from 4.30pm to access all of the amazing content we have for you!
