Working With Children in Early Years & Education BA Hons

What is it?

Working with Children in Early Years & Education is a one year top up degree course that will enable you to gain a full BA honours degree.

Who is it For?

This Top-up degree is designed for those working or aspiring to work with children or young people in a range of contexts, educational or social.

What are the Entry Requirements?

You must have achieved a Level 5 within the last five years and you must undertake at least one day a week of work placement within a course related setting.

Modules will include:

Equality & Diversity, Contemporary Issues, Learning in the Outside Environment, Leadership and Management and a dissertation.

How Much Does it Cost?

The total cost is £6,165 and tuition fee loans are available for this course, plus other maintenance loans depending on individual eligibility.

When Will it Take Place?

The course will take place every Thursday, term time only for 33 weeks, from 1pm – 6.30pm. Level 6 students will also meet with their disseration supervisors for tutorials on Thursday mornings or at an alternative day/time to fit in with student’s other commitment.
