A Foundation Degree is a Level 4 and 5 Qualification and is the first two years of a BA. Our course is suitable for employees who are aspiring managers, or working in middle management and looking to further their career with a qualification which allows them to earn whilst they learn.
Our Foundation Degree in Leadership & Management is designed to support the development of reflective, task-orientated managers that will be equipped to manage effectively and with confidence in the work place.

Students on this course will develop a good level of knowledge and a critical understanding of the underlying concepts, principles, methodologies and skills of leadership and management.
This qualification has been mapped against the Higher Apprencticeship framework to deliver contemporaneous modules.
We are proposing the course is run 5.5 hours a week, over the course of a full academic year and we are keen to develop and progress staff within your business. Students on this course will generally be expected to be employed or volunteering in a role relevant to the programme for a minimum of 240 hours throughout the course.
As a Sixth Form College which is well known for its Level 3 provision, we want to assure any prospective university students that we run programmes which meet the demands of working life. Our Leadership & Management model is designed so that it supports those in both full and part-time employment.
For entry onto this course, you will be required to have at least two A Levels or a Level 3 Qualification, with both English Language and Maths GCSE at grade C or above, or equivalent.
Mature students without any traditional qualifications may be accepted following APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experimental Learning) providing you can show appropriate levels of relevant ability and experience.
