Success for Computing Students

There have been further celebrations for students at Cardinal Newman, as it has been revealed that Cardinal Newman students feature heavily in the top twenty A Level Computing students nationally.

Not one but FOUR of our A Level students were ranked in the WJEC top twenty for their Computing A Level. Zoe Mather (St Michael’s), Aiden Moosa (Hutton Grammar), Adam Eastham (All Hallows) and William Lumby (St Bede’s) all achieved top marks in their Computing exam during the summer 2016, landing them a place in this most prestigious list. The group were also selected due to their success to win a prize from Internet Security and Data Mining experts Netcraft.

Netcraft offer internet security services, including anti-phising and anti-fraud services, as well as research and data analysis on many aspects of the internet. Each year Netcraft awards prizes to the top twenty computing students and invites them down to their offices in Bath so that they can learn a bit more about the company and its services.

Congratulations to them all!
