Stage Coach Service Updates
We are so pleased to be able to welcome our students – new and returning – to campus again this week. Along with other service providers we are committed to doing this as safely as possible. To that end, Stagecoach have issued further details regarding their services and how our students can use them to get to College safely.
First of all, Stagecoach have revised their timetables across the network to attempt to restore the service frequencies to match those before the pandemic. Full details of the services and a link to the timetables can be found here.
These timetables include the normal operation of their College services on the routes 59, 61, 68 & 125 – these are College journeys and will be for the use of College students only.
As well as this they will be providing additional capacity on the following routes, 1, 2, 109 & 125 as dedicated College/School bus services. There will be no difference in fare for using these services and where possible, students are encouraged to use these services to free up space on the ‘normal’ non dedicated school services. Students can still use any of our services as normal, these dedicated services are simply to provide extra capacity where required.
We are working together to try to ensure everyone can attend College safely, so please remember that face coverings are required on public transport for children aged 11 and over. We would also ask that where walking and cycling is an option, students should consider this before using public transport.
