Do you have the desire to work with people in a range of health, social care or educational settings? Are you approachable, trustworthy and enthusiastic? If so, a Health and Social Care BTEC First Level 2 Certificate may be the course for you.
This course is designed to embed alongside two GCSE resits. For those students resitting one GCSE, they will complete 70 hours placement with clients who receive care and support.
On successful completion of the BTEC First Certificate, you may progress onto the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care or another BTEC Level 3 course offered at the College. Alternatively, you could secure an apprenticeship or training position.
At least three 3’s at GCSE, including at least a 4 in English Language or Maths.
