Record-breaking Oxbridge success on A Level Results Day

Cardinal Newman College has had another record-breaking year as more students than ever head to Oxford and Cambridge.

We’re not just celebrating an overall A Level pass rate of 100%, but also an outstanding 73% of students achieving high grades at advanced level. The College also achieved 100% pass rate in 30 A Level subjects.

Level 3 BTEC students are also celebrating their successes with a whopping 100% pass rate and 100% high grades in 28 BTEC courses, which means those students not only passed, but they passed with flying colours.

But one of our biggest achievements is celebrating our Oxbridge applicants, with an incredible 15 Newman students being accepted onto their places to study at either Oxford or Cambridge University.
