You will develop a wide range of performance and vocational skills and will be assessed on your practical skills and written coursework.
This course will develop your acting, dancing and singing skills. It is designed to enable you to experience all three art forms and develop the skills needed to work in the Performing Arts Industry.
You will experience and explore the work of actors, directors and dancers through a wide range of different practitioners.
You will develop your physical and vocal skills for both scripted and devised material and learn about plays from a range of eras.
You will develop your dance skills in a variety of different styles such as contemporary, jazz, classical ballet and street. You will develop your
creative and choreographic skills through practical exploration of a range of dance practitioners.
You will work collaboratively with other students as well as independently on project work. You will be given opportunities to perform work in the Newman Theatre in front of live public audiences and there will also be access to professional workshops and trips to the theatre to view live dance performance.
You will also take part in large scale productions written and produced by a very talented and experienced Performing Arts team.
