Leavers’ Celebrations 2017

Last week we said goodbye to our year 13 students in a fabulous leavers’ celebration! Students gathered together in the St Augustine’s building to spend time reflecting on their shared experiences at Cardinal Newman over the last two years.

The celebration was opened by a staff drumming band, marching and drumming with glow sticks, which has now become an annual tradition! This was followed by an address from Principal Nick Burnham, who talked about his pride in what each of the students has achieved during their time at the College.

Students were treated to performances by Foundation Learning Department, Performing Arts students and the Dance Academy!

After the formal celebrations were over, staff and students enjoyed drinks and nibbles as they said their farewells.

We wish all of our Year 13 students the best of luck in their exams and in the future, we know you will continue to make us proud!
