Health Day
Our Foundation Learning students took part in Health Day, which was organised by the department to raise the students’ awareness of living a healthy lifestyle through a day of fun activities.
During the morning the students split into four teams and had a carousel of five different activities. In turn, the groups were able to try their hands at Pilates and meditation, making stress balls, digital/life balance awareness followed by a quiz, hand washing under a UV light and making their own healthy wraps and sandwiches.
After lunch, the group took part in a dodgeball tournament, where all had a fantastic time with the yellow team claiming victory in a closely contested final.
The whole day was a fantastic opportunity for the students to boost their skills and knowledge of healthy living and exercise as well as promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
