Game of Gnomes
Cardinal Newman Performing Arts Department, NewMania Productions, are making their much anticipated return to the Charter theatre at the Guild Hall.
A brand new and original comedy musical, written by Newman’s very own Pete Hartley, teacher of Drama, ‘Game of Gnomes’ is an affectionate parody of the multi-award winning Game of Thrones TV series.
Long ago and far away a great garden was ruled by arrogant gnomes waited upon by envious elves, it was a peaceful place with no weapons, until the goblins arrived…
The production is hopefully the first of many back at the Charter Theatre and will be a collaboration staged by Performing Arts students, Cardinal Newman Dance Academy – New Manoeuvres and the Music Academy.
Rehearsals are well underway for what is set to be a spectacular comeback, taking place on Wednesday 6th April and Thursday 7th April at 7.30pm with a matinee at 1.30pm.
Tickets cost just £10, or £8.50 for concessions and are available from the Charter Theatre Box Office. For more details visit the Charter Theatre http://www.prestonguildhall.com/events/view/303
