Christmas Card Competition

Digital Photography and Graphic Design Departments held a College Christmas card competition, which all first and second year Graphic Design students entered. The students were asked to create design sheets on their ideas and development of studies. They experimented with their own illustrations, vector illustrations and photoshop/illustrator designs to create their final pieces.

A judging panel selected the winner and Helena Holden’s card design won, as her design had embraced the brief and the College Mission and Ethos perfectly. Helena won 30 prints of her card and a giant gingerbread man. There were six runners up alongside the winner, who have had their work produced A2 in size to display at the Elderly Christmas Partly and in the Chapel this Christmas time. We are really very proud of all of these students, but in particular Helena who create a professional and diverse design.
