Celebrating HE Success!
We are delighted to announce that our HE students have once again done us proud with their final results. A whopping 56% of our BA hons students, who have studied Working with Children in Early Years and Education achieved a first class honours and 33% achieved a 2:1. There was also fabulous results for our Level 5 students, with 66% of students achieving either a distinction or merit and 100% progression from our Level 4 courses onto the Level 5.
As work-based qualifications, our outstanding university courses offer the opportunity for students to continue to work alongside their studies in a range of areas including Foundation Degrees in Business Studies, Early Years, Teaching & Learning Support, Health & Social Care and the BA Top Up in Working with Children in Early Years & Education.
Delivered at Cardinal Newman every Wednesday during term-time, these courses allow you to further your career, whilst continuing to work and earn. This enables our students to bring their work-based experience and knowledge to the classroom as well as enabling them to take what they have learnt in the classroom back into the work-place, so not just benefiting the students themselves, but also their employers.
Cardinal Newman was also one of only a handful of institutions to achieve 100% student satisfaction in the National Student Survey. The survey rates student experience and satisfaction amongst Higher Education learners, and was completed by more than 300,000 students across 530 institutions nationwide. Students were asked about a range of aspects such as quality of provision, teaching and how engaging and stimulating their course was. Of all 530 institutions, only 30 received 100% student satisfaction and Cardinal Newman was one of only two Sixth Form Colleges nationally to achieve this accolade!
