Biology Olympiad

Congratulations are in order for a number of our students after they were awarded special prizes by the Royal Society of Biology. 18 students who are studying A Level Biology at the College have been commended for a variety of reasons for their submissions to the Biology Olympiad.

The competition is open to schools and colleges who enter only their most talented biologists. The awards ranged from bronze, silver and gold awards to highly commended. Students are set questions which are designed to challenge and test their understanding of biological principles.

Well done to Dona Solichan, Matthew Murray, Katherine Dewison, Abdullah Khawaja, Sameeullah Shahabi, Solomon Kamran, Della Solichan, James Dunstan, Rachael Almond, Adil Lakha, Samuel Turley, George Briault, Naomi Richardson, Josephine Coffey, Mohammed Patel, Leah Hunter, Elliot Taylor and Henna Reddy.
