Art Students Take in the Tate

At the end of this half term, Art and Design students were given the opportunity to visit the Liverpool Tate and Walker Art Galleries. The trip enabled them to see the special exhibitions featuring the work of Lucie McKenzie and Walter Sickert, whilst also gathering research to support the projects that they are currently working on.

As with any art trip, there was also time scheduled into the day for students to explore the surroundings and take photographs and draw during this time, which they could then bring back and include in their portfolios.

It was a great day out and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who went!
